Imagining and designing a city of the future. Rethink Aleppo, The City Always Wins – With talks, a variety of workshops and an Eat to Meet, 5th May in Amsterdam.
Aleppo is one of the oldest cities in the world. It has been rebuilt many times before. History plays an important role in understanding what Aleppo is. With talks by AlHakam Shaar of the Aleppo Project, young Syrian designers Mari Farwy and Michael Barchini we dived into the history and the elements that make Aleppo, Aleppo. After setting the context we imagine a city of the future by city making and art workshops.
