Food production causes 40 percent of the environmental impact of our consumption. That is a fact that doesn’t leave room for environmentally ignorant diets.

The studies show that even the small deeds have a great impact on environment so the change (for better) is reachable for all of us. Let’s treat ourselves to a better future!

We all know the basic tips when it comes to sustainable eating habits. But here you have the key points listed for your refrigerator door:

1 Keep your diet varied with a focus on vegetarian ingredients.

2 Increase the portion of vegetables, fruit, berries, vegetable proteins and whole-wheat products in your diet. This step alone reduces your diet’s environmental consumption with 20 to 30 percent!

3 Don’t throw away food. Food waste is a big and completely preventable environmental load for our planet. Food that ends up in the trash was produced unnecessarily.
