Does the library belong indoors?
The library belongs among people. It belongs in the streets and alleys where the citizens gather and run their errands, live their lives. Måndag created a bike library concept for the Central library’s launch campaign. The concept was to supply six bicycles with different themed mini-libraries which the library employees then rode around. A few of these library bicycles continued in the streets after the launch and we were able to widen the perspective on what can be done with the streets of Helsinki.
