What defines a good park?
Parks are not only green spaces. They are places where we can relax, play sports or even cook outdoors. Parks are urban living rooms. The City of Jyväskylä is privileged with exceptional greenery. The park is situated around the city’s central area and it’s aesthetically important and it includes historical landscapes, significant nature attractions as well as provides various sports services. “Kehä Vihreä”, The Green Zone, is a nearby oasis for the city’s residents that offers peace and calm for those who seeks tranquility. Together with Måndag and WSP Finland, The City of Jyväskylä started a project aiming to make the parks even better by participating the citizens in the process.
