The project called Allas got accepted by the city board of Helsinki. Allas is a five-year project aiming for year-round recreation. It is meant to open on the First of May 2015.
Allas has been planned for a long time together with sports department and the people of Helsinki. The functions of the city-spa have raised a vibrant discussion on the Facebook-page of Allas.
Måndag is aboard, planning contents and communication for the Allas. The spa-like outdoor swimming pool area consists of pools, saunas, terraces for sunbathing, a restaurant and a grass field, suitable for organizing events. The idea of the project is to make the Helsinki seaside areas more accessible for the citizens. There is also a plan to build a Baltic Sea information centre and a well-being centre suitable for sports and slow life, in the vicinity of the Allas.
